“ I order beef set and rice for two. They give quite generous amount of food. We almost didnt finish it all. The staff was nice but lack to communicate in English google translate help a lot when you order via tablet lol. Overall, i had a great experience there. Free parking if you dine in. ”
“ OMG! God bless the cow. Had a wonderful dining experience here. Best to make reservations else be there when they open, private parking is available. The tongues and all parts of the cow are high quality, friendly staff, easy to order from iPad with pictures, no problem if you don’t speak Japanese. Just poke. You will be given a private room. Highly recommended. ”
“ Ok, I went to this place and realized I waited way too long to go to a Japanese BBQ. The whole experience was totally fun from start to finish. They have free parking on site and a guy in the parking lot in classic Japanese style directing you to the spot of his choice. The spots are pretty tight, so I got out and made sure the wife didn't prang the car. When we went inside, it smelled amazing, and we knew we hit the jackpot with the display of meat in an open cold storage area in full view of the waiting area. The guy assigning the seats was super enthusiastic and spoke pretty good English. They brought us nice tea in the waiting room. When our table was ready, the grill was preheated, and they explained exactly how to use the grill and menu tablet. They also recommended we order rice right away as the special rice takes 15 mins to cook. We looked around on the tablet and decided on a kimchi flight that comes with 4 different kinds of kimchi. I have had it before, but not in a flight where I could directly compare the different types. This came quickly. About 10 mins in, they brought the rice put with a timer, and it said 6 minutes left and we were told to open exactly when the timer went off. In the meantime, the meat and veggie tray came, and we went to work on the grill. The waiter saw that we were a but confused and came by and showed us to take the fat strip and drag it around the grill first, then place your meat down 15 seconds per side. We did that, and it's was pretty close, but I think we had the grill on low, we moved it up to medium and went 2o seconds per side and got a nice medium rare. The rice timer went off, and we dug into that with their special suace and seaweed wraps. Grab a strip of seaweed and pick up the rice inside and down the hatch it went. We grilled veggies and wagu and beef and onions and asparagus, and it was all delicious and fun and full of laughter. Definitely a do again lister and I don't know what the other places are like but this was excellent everything. We ate quite a bit and it only came to about 8000 yen too. In the whole process I only took one photo because I got wrapped up in the experiance. Sorry google verse ”
“ Went there at 11:45, really love their booth seat for couples and Wagyu bbq lunch menu are so worthy, especially the extra meat set only cost ¥500 more. Order through the tablet and lunch set also includes a self-service coffee/green tea at the end. ”
“ We came on a weekday evening without reservation. Ample parking right next to the restaurant. The service staff are super friendly and explained well in English. The food is great and the potted rice is yummy! There were 4 of us, we ordered 2 sets of the premium yakiniku 3-item assortment, 2 potted rice, some kimchi and a veg set for grilling. They also change the grill regularly to ensure our food can be grilled wel. Will come again when in beppu. ”
“ A self-service grilling restaurant that boasts an impressive selection of premium meats, such as wagyu, pork, and chicken. What truly impressed was the staff's recommendation: a bowl of rice cooked to perfection in a ceramic pot, exuding a captivating rice aroma, and bursting with flavor. To elevate the experience even further, the homemade sauce paired with the rice added a remarkable depth of taste. ”
“ It would be good to make a reservation first, especially if you are in a large group, as they are very popular. On that day we did not make any reservations but they were very accommodating and we did not wait for long before they had a table for us. The staff are very friendly and polite, they kept apologising for making us wait. Recommend ordering the premium cuts as they are affordable, yet melts in your mouth, one of the best I have eaten in my visit to Kyushu! ”
“ We had read some amazing reviews of this place and knew we had to try it too (God bless the cow). The food was amazing, the cuts of meat delicious and well priced! The intestines and tripe were very clean as well. We had gotten our hotel to make a reservation for us being a group of 12 and would definitely recommend it as it looked quite busy. You get seated in a “private” room with sliding doors and there’s an ipad for ordering. The ordering process was very easy and the food came out quickly. Some staff can speak english as well. They recommended their special white rice cooked in a claypot and we also got the regular bowl of white rice to compare. The claypot rice definitely tasted more smooth and higher grade but it is subtle so if you’re a rice is rice kinda person, it might just taste the same. The ventilation is great, you won’t leave smelling of bbq meats like some other places. ”
